machibuse’s 1st full album Be Yourself To Rebel will be out on April 9th, functioning as both an introduction and a comprehensive history. Fans who missed out on the band’s first demos will be happy to see that many of those songs have been re-recorded for inclusion, along with studio versions of ノーカウント (NO COUNT) and アフターファイブのシティーボーイ (AFTER FIVE no CITY BOY). Be sure to check out their latest music video and mark your calendar, the 11-track album is set to retail for ￥2,000 (plus tax).

At long last, machibuse’s debut mini-album, the ヒツジかぞえる狼EP (HITSUJI kazoeru ookami EP), will be available nationwide on July 3rd! The 8-track album, which features 6 previously unreleased songs and 2 bonus live recordings (track list below), is set to retail for ￥1,000 and will also be available from online retailers Amazon.co.jp and HMV ONLINE (both of which offer overseas shipping!). It’s been a rough road for machibuse; this marks the band’s first official release since changing members last August and, in the absence of industry backing, they have chosen to release the album independently, effectively starting their own indie label “Woolen Wolf Records”. So, SUPPORT, SUPPORT, SUPPORT!
